I must have checked the weather at least a billion times this past week, hoping that the forecast would change for Kate and Joe’s wedding day. Luckily, the skies cleared up for them and I’m so happy that we didn’t have to make use of the half a dozen umbrellas that Jay and I brought for just in case. Kate and Joe ended up having a beautiful wedding day from start to finish, filled with so many friends and family. This couple is so loved and it was such an honor to be a part of their day and get to know so many of the people in their lives. Kate and Joe got ready at their parents’ homes and then headed to St. Mary of the Lake in Lakewood. They had an emotional ceremony with lots of tears of happiness shed. I couldn’t help but get choked up myself when not only did I see the bride’s mother crying, but I then I looked at the groom as he was wiping his own tears away. What a sweet moment! After the ceremony we had a fabulous portrait session on the grounds of The English Manor in Ocean, NJ. The bridal party was so much fun and up for anything that we got a ton of fun shots! Kate and Joe, thank you for allowing us to capture your day! Jay and I wish you the very best that life can bring. Enjoy your honeymoon!!
