Maggie and Justin met thanks to strong encouragement from a mutual friend (one of Maggie’s bridesmaids) and, a little over a year later, Justin proposed to Maggie during a trip to Maine! They planned a traditional, elegant, and romantic summer wedding at The Manor and, after some major changes to their wedding plans due to COVID-19, their wedding took place last week. They cut their guest list to just 45 of their loved ones so their big day didn’t go exactly as they had initially planned but, if you ask me, it was a perfect day! They spent the morning getting ready with their family and close friends, had a beautiful ceremony at the prettiest church, and then spent quality time with their loved ones back at their venue during portraits and an outdoor reception.
One of the sweetest parts of this wedding day was seeing all the thoughtful details Maggie and Justin planned for their guests. From custom masks for their loved ones to hand sanitizer at their socially distanced ceremony, and a smaller guest list for their outdoor reception, everyone could tell that they prioritized the health of their loved ones on what turned out to be a lovely wedding day. It’s so wonderful to see couples like Maggie and Justin focus on what really matters and find a way to get married in spite of everything going on right now! Weddings like this one are such a great reminder of why I do what I do and I’m so thankful!! Enjoy this recap!
Maggie and Justin, congratulations to you on your wedding!! I wish you much health, joy and love in your marriage!
