Jen and Joe had a beautiful wedding day last week, but I knew it would be from the second we met with them and heard about all the details they were planning at their engagement session. Not only that, but that it was full of sentimental details, which I love. To start, they each got ready at their parents’ homes. There’s always something so special about leaving for your wedding from your family home! For their ceremony, Jen and Joe chose Jen’s childhood church where her parents were married along with several other family members. We love when couples choose locations that have such special meaning to them! When it came time to celebrate, we headed over to The Palace at Somerset Park. This was actually the only venue Jen and Joe looked at because they knew it was the one as soon as they saw it!

Anyone who knows Jen knows that her two favorite things are pink and glitter so of course you’ll be seeing plenty of that sprinkled throughout this post! Joe incorporated navy into the color palette, too, and these two complementary colors made for a beautifully timeless wedding. Jen is very creative and crafty so she spent a lot of time preparing all the special details of the day, from invitation pockets to welcome signs. Every detail was perfect but the most amazing one was when Jen surprised Joe with fireworks at the time of their cake-cutting! Wait until you see all the fun photos we got of them with the fireworks. It was a perfect ending to their wedding day!
