I love to photograph all the special items as soon as I arrive at the getting ready location because it allows me to really get to know the personality of the wedding. Plus I get to re-live that feeling of wedding day anticipation all over again! To help you get the wedding details photos you dream of, here are 10 tips for swoon-worthy wedding details.
Florals
Make sure your florals have been delivered by the time your photographer arrives. This way, your photographer can use your bouquets and boutonnieres to enhance your wedding details. If your florist is nervous about delivering the florals early make sure you have the photographer keep the bouquets in water when they’re not being photographed.
Loose flowers
I absolutely love when our brides have loose flowers set aside for their detail shots! Adding a single stem or even some greenery adds such dimension, color, and softness to an image. Plan ahead and have your florist deliver single stem flowers with your wedding florals.
Ring Box
