Last week we announced the start of our new travel photography project… check it out here if you missed it! This week we have two pictures taken by Jay in Rome last summer. We had both been to the Vatican Museums on previous trips but somehow we had missed its amazing spiral staircase. Well, we weren’t about to miss it again this time! Finding your way around the museum can be confusing but, after asking around, we finally found the double helix staircase at the end of our tour of the museum. It was designed by Giuseppe Momo in 1932 and is made up of two staircases – one for people going up and one for those going down. Here it is, one of Rome’s many treasures… thanks for stopping by!
