Last month we had our very first Central Jersey Tuesdays Together meetup and it was so much fun! We met at Cafe 360 in Freehold and had some yummy biscotti, coffee, and gelato while getting to know each other and diving into a group discussion. Since it was Philanthropy month, group members brought donations for Freehold Open Door and I was reminded of my teaching days when I used to organize the Thanksgiving Food Drive for Student Council! Some things never change =)

We focused our group discussion on last month’s topic, which was blogging and SEO, two of my favorite topics!! I loved sharing and hearing details about how blogging has impacted all of our businesses and we probably could have kept the discussion going for a while longer! If you missed the meeting, here are the top two tips that were shared:

• Blogging doesn’t have to be a dreaded task. Make it easier on yourself by using the many tools out there and streamline your blogging workflow! Here are a few tools that were mentioned: Blogstomp, Co-Schedule, and editorial calendars.
• SEO is the key to being found on Google. Download the RTS SEO Checklist from our FB group and be sure to use it before hitting “publish” on a post!
