Akreeti and Tim met at 14 years old during high school. They shared many of the same classes and became best friends. They went from messages through AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) to frequent emails to in depth phone conversations and towards the end of freshman year, Tim asked Akreeti to the school dance.

Like so many of the couples that visit, Akreeti and Tim fell in love with Ashford Estate as soon as they arrived. It’s not hard – it’s such a gorgeous venue here in New Jersey. With natural beauty, it was the perfect place for Akreeti and Tim’s two ceremonies. To celebrate Akreeti’s heritage, they had both a Hindu and Christian ceremony! Our associate photographer, Marianne, and the rest of our team loved being a part of it. From the colorful elements of their Hindu wedding attire to the elegant timelessness of their traditional American attire, this wedding was so varied and truly unique. And packed!! If you’ve never been to an Nepalese wedding I can assure you that you must have good endurance for an event like this one, ha! I’m sure all the guests enjoyed every minute but definitely had a good lie-in the next morning!
