Last weekend was a busy one for us! While we were out shooting our own weddings, our associate photographers, Jocelyn and Marianne, were photographing Jess and Jon’s at The Bethwood. Jess and Jon took a very relaxed approach to their wedding by scheduling all their events at their venue. From getting ready to portraits to their ceremony and their reception, they were able to take full advantage of what their venue had to offer in order to maximize their time together on that day and make it convenient for their guests.
It was a gorgeous day so Jess and Jon shared their first look out in the gardens and it was perfect! Jess got the reaction every bride loves when her groom saw her for the first time that day. Wait until you see his face – it’s already a favorite! After their portraits, their bridal party joined them followed by family, making it easy to capture all their portraits before the ceremony. We love wedding days like this because couples get to spend so much more time together on their wedding day when they get to see each other early in the day.
This was one of our most documented weddings this year! There were so many loved ones capturing their day to send video clips and pictures to loved ones who couldn’t make it. I imagine their favorite part of the day was when Jess and Jon exchanged vows – cue the tears! Plus it was Jess’s cousin who married them so their ceremony was especially meaningful and heartfelt because of it. Enjoy this recap of their day!
