Associate Wedding at Jasna Polana

Last Saturday, our Associate Photographers, Jocelyn and Marianne, had the pleasure of photographing Heather and Nick’s wedding at Princeton Meadow Church and Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ. Heather grew up about twenty minutes from this beautiful venue and was thrilled when she and Nick found it it was available for this summer. They were attracted to it for the design of the building, its large windows, and big golf course. To complement its formal nature, Heather and Nick designed a wedding full of greenery and beautiful flowers with an understated approach. We loved their timeless style!

Heather and Nick both got ready at Jasna Polana. We love the attention to detail Heather had when picking out all the special items she would use on her wedding day. She even used a garter that belonged to her 86 year old grandmother. Heather is the first to get married in her family and the first to use garter so it was a special way to incorporate a family heirloom. When it came time for the ceremony, everyone headed to Princeton Meadow Church. Heather and Nick were both so excited to see each other and Nick had the biggest smile when he saw Heather walk down the aisle with her father. After a traditional ceremony, the couple and all their guests headed back to Jasna Polana for the reception. It was a rainy day, but they managed to squeeze in some outdoor portraits during cocktail hour and a few more when the rain finally let up just before the sun went down and it was time to celebrate with their family and friends.
