Tammy and Harry were engaged this past February and soon decided they didn’t want to wait to be married so they started wedding planning in July and tied the knot last weekend! They found me thanks to one of my past brides, who now runs Three Girls Garden with her mother and sister (wait until you see the florals!) and I had the honor of capturing one of the most charming weddings of the summer!
I have to say that a silver lining during this pandemic season has been seeing so many couples decide to forego with the traditional and do things in their own way. Tammy and Harry did just that. Being very family-oriented, they knew they wanted to have a small and intimate wedding to make sure they could include Harry’s grandparents. A backyard at Harry’s sister’s home was the perfect choice! They incorporated beautiful wildflowers, calligraphy, and vintage rentals in their decor and a farm to table dinner for their guests.
With lots of family helping to make their day happen, neither Tammy nor Harry were 100% sure how their wedding would unfold but they decided this would make it all the more fun. In the end, it was a beautiful wedding. They had the most perfect late summer weather, a heartwarming outdoor ceremony, and a charming backyard reception. I love that they incorporated their dogs – they pretty much stole the show during the portrait session, as you’ll see in the recap below!
Tammy and Harry, congratulations to you both! Thank you for allowing me the honor of capturing your day – best wishes for a marriage full of love, health, and joy!
