The Details
Happy Wednesday! I’m so excited to share these Willowwood Arboretum engagement photos today! I have to say that our couples have been choosing some pretty gorgeous locations for engagement photos and it has been a real treat! For Juliana and Joe’s engagement session, we met up at this hidden gem in Chester Township. I discovered this beautiful location thanks to a friend a few years ago but had never had the opportunity to do an engagement session there. When I asked Juliana and Joe where they wanted to have their engagement photos taken and they mentioned flowers, gardens, and vegetation, Willowwood Arboretum immediately came to mind. It ended up being the perfect fit! The gardens were in full bloom, creating a perfect backdrop for a springtime engagement session.
The Couple
Juliana and Joe were introduced to each other by Juliana’s mother and grandmother at their company Christmas party. Both ladies thought that Joe would be a good match for Juliana and they were right! They still argue over who gets credit for the introduction but one thing is certain: these two are wonderful together. From the moment they arrived at their engagement session, I could tell Juliana and Joe connect on many different levels and most importantly, they just love to laugh together. I already know they’re going to be wonderful to work with on their wedding day and I can’t wait! Luckily, I don’t have to wait long because their wedding is coming up really soon! These two are tying the knot in July at New Jersey’s newest venue – Park Chateau Estate & Gardens. I had the pleasure of seeing the venue in person last month during their venue walk-through and I have to say that it is gorgeous and it’s the perfect setting for the elegant and timeless wedding they are planning. I’ll be sharing a preview of their day in early July but for now, enjoy this glimpse into their Willowwood Arboretum engagement photos!

When they knew they had found the one
The proposal
“Last July we went to Aruba for vacation. Joe’s cousin said to me the day before we left that she thought he was going to propose in Aruba and I said “no way, he would never travel with a ring”. Half way through what was already an amazing trip, he booked a last minute day trip for one of the boat excursions on the beach. I didn’t think anything of it but when we arrived to the Marina, we were the only people boarding this beautiful boat with a captain and a server. We sailed around, stopping to snorkel in the coral reef and enjoyed the most amazing day. At the end of the day, the chef was preparing dinner and we watched the sun set and that is when he proposed. I was so surprised and happy, I cried for the rest of the trip.”
One thing they love about each other
Juliana: “I love that creating a family together is going to be so special to him. He will be the best dad in the world.”
Joe: “I love how much Juliana cares about the people around her.”
Besides getting married, one thing they’re looking forward to on their wedding day
Juliana: “The one thing we are looking forward to on our wedding day besides our marriage is seeing all of the people we love under one roof.:
Joe: “We are from big families and getting together is always so nice but seeing it happen on this scale is overwhelmingly special.”
The photo below on the right just cracks me up! I asked Juliana and Joe to smile like they’re getting married soon and I got funny faces from both of them! Love that they both did the same thing without knowing what the other was doing. I told you these two were the perfect match!
