Jessica and Kyle met in their high school math class! I love high school sweethearts – there’s something just so, well, sweet, about them. These two have been together for 12 years – amazing! Kyle ended up proposing during the holiday season so they opted for an engagement session during the holiday season as well. It complemented their spring wedding perfectly and now, they’ve officially tied the knot in a beautiful lakeside ceremony.

Jessica and Kyle told me that they wanted a truly classic and simple wedding overlooking the lake so Windows on the Water at Frogbridge was the perfect venue for their wedding day. The two fell in love with it almost immediately upon visiting the first time – especially the outdoor space. We lucked out with a beautiful 62 degree day for their spring wedding – a perfect way to kick off our May weddings.

The classic and elegant theme of Jessica and Kyle’s wedding day was enhanced by the neutral color palette they chose, keeping everything simple but beautiful. Jessica had a stunning all-white wedding bouquet filled with garden roses, ranunculus, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, and gray berries. It was such an elegant choice for her! Her bridesmaids carried pale pink florals and the groomsmen had pale pink boutonnières to match. The florals were just stunning! Keeping it more traditional, Jessica and Kyle chose not to do a first look before the ceremony so their portrait session took place during cocktail hour just before their party started in the elegant tent at their venue. It was the perfect end to a beautiful wedding day!
